I am alive and well...

One week down, I am at Camp Lejeune NC and the training has begun. The days are long and the PT is intense. I am a Fire Team leader and oversee the well being of three good Marines. I also was volintold to be the Alpha Co. Deck Commander, this billet is responsible to keep the entire Company deck clean and organized and to Marine Corps standards. I am slowly but surely getting comfortable here at my home away from home but one thing still rings true, I still can't get my beautiful family off my mind.
